Thailand reports first civilian death as border clashes with Cambodia enter second week

The death toll from ongoing clashes between Thailand and Cambodia has risen to 26 people. Thailand has reported its first civilian death after a week of hostilities, but Cambodian officials have rejected Thailand's toll, calling it disinformation. Cambodia has set up more than 100 evacuation centres across six provinces and shut all border crossings with Thailand until further notice. More than half a million people have been displaced on both sides. Saksith Saiyasombut reports from Surin province in Thailand and Leong Wai Kit reports from Oddar Meanchey province in Cambodia.
