Thai parliament set to officially open today

CNA

Thailand’s parliament is set to open again for the first time in five years this Friday. King Maha Vajiralongkorn will preside over the opening ceremony at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while the upper and lower Houses will convene at a temporary location since the new parliament building is still under construction. This comes two months after the first democratic elections, as no one still can command a clear majority. I explain what will happen next.
